The 20 Tube solar panel will produce approximately 5.3kWh/d of energy on average and can work in conjunction with a wetback, gas booster or electrical element to ensure you always have plenty of hot water.

20Tube Case Study

In July 2009 we installed a 20 Tube solar water heating system for Mr Palmer in Nelson. Mr Palmer and his wife are relatively low water users with low water pressure and only having showers.

30 Tube Case Study

In September 2010 we installed a 30 Tube solar water heating system for Mr & Mrs Stevenson in Marlborough. The house had a 300ltr solar ready water cylinder installed when it was built and so the system was easily connected to the cylinder. With two children, the Stevenson’s use a fair amount of water each day. Throughout summer the solar system provides all their hot water and around 50% of their hot water requirements in winter. The solar system has made a significant reduction in their overall power bill, reducing it be approximately 40% annually.

40 Tube Case Study

In August 2009 we installed a 40 Tube solar water heating system for the Franklin family in Wellington. With 4 children the Franklin’s consume a lot of hot water each day and so a 350ltr water cylinder was installed with 40 Tubes. With a combination of solar and their wetback fire in winter the Franklin’s have a zero energy bill for water heating and this has reduced their energy usage by approximately 50% annually.
