LANCE DOUBLE
Managing Director/Technical Design
Lance has been involved in the renewable energy field since 2001, initially with the manufacture, design, and installation of solar thermal systems and the design and installation of PV Solar systems for marine and mobile applications. This progressed to off-grid and grid-tie PV solar systems for homes and businesses.
In 2009 Lance founded Solar Electric Technology Ltd (ESolar) with Frank Witowski, and in 2016 he purchased Frank's share of the business to become a sole director.
Over the last 12 years, Lance has built ESolar up to become one of New Zealand's leading and most respected solar providers, and in 2017 ESolar won Small Solar Business of the Year (SEANZ).

ALEX DOUBLE
Administration and Marketing Manager
Alex joined ESolar at the beginning of 2019 and has become an invaluable member of the team.
Alex manages the compliance process for all of our clients to ensure that their solar installation is hassle free and streamlined. This is often very complex however Alex has a passion to ensure our clients have the best experience possible. Alex also handles the administration and marketing requirements for ESolar.

SEAN MARR
Project management - Solar Technician
After 5 years in Australia working as a communications rigger, Sean returned to New Zealand and worked in the real estate industry for a few years.
Sean joined ESolar in early 2019, looking for a new challenge and trained as a Solar Technician. He very quickly became a highly valued team member due to his dedication to developing his skill base.
Sean's role has developed to project management, stock control, technical support, and staff training.

Solar Technician
After 14 years in the hospitality industry working as a head chef, Josh joined ESolar in mid-2021 and trained as a solar technician.
Josh is now running one of our installation teams, and we are super proud of his passion and dedication to his installations and our customers.

Fajbian Sanerivi

Fajbian spent 7 years working as a Gymnastics, trampoline and Parkour instructor in Nelson, prior to joining ESolar in mid 2022.
Fajbian is training as a Solar Technician and is proving to be a real asset to the team.

Working with us - the process
This process will vary depending on your situation and requirements.
If you are already connected to the grid or are building a new home that will be connected to the grid, the process is relatively simple.
Send us an email with your contact details, address, and an overview of what you want to achieve.
If you have energy bills for the last 12 months, please also send these as well.
We will then call you to discuss the options. We may also book a site meeting with you to check over your site.
We will then provide a comprehensive design and quotation with a detailed return on investment.
If you are looking for an off-grid power system, the process is slightly more in-depth as we need to work through your expected energy requirements in detail.
